The skills you’ll learn as an accounting assistant or bookkeeper include accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping. This program provides graduates with relevant accounting knowledge, enabling them to work for small, medium, or large companies. Graduates are also eligible to pursue the nationally recognized certification of Certified Professional Bookkeepers (CPBs). Continuing education and networking opportunities with bookkeeping professionals across Canada are also available to students who join the AIC at a discounted rate.
